The Coaching Conversation 2016. Our passion and aim is to support the region in developing a coaching and mentoring community and a coaching culture that will help organisations build capacity and drive performance excellence with tangible results in both engagement and profit.
About the Conference:
This is our 2nd year of hosting the East of England Coaching and Mentoring Conference. Our passion and aim is to support the region in developing a coaching and mentoring community and a coaching culture that will help organisations build capacity and drive performance excellence with tangible results in both engagement and profit.
Coaching and mentoring have long been recognised as go-to interventions, the evidence base and body of knowledge continue to grow, but we need to embed a coaching culture and keep up momentum.
It can feel like a gargantuan task with so much to consider; resources, skills, appetite, team involvement, training, creating your coaching community, evaluation, assessment and to ensure longevity, supervision and continuous professional development.
Organisational change can sometimes feel like treading through treacle but this shouldn’t come wholly from the top down, nor from the bottom up, rather an alchemic process embraced by all.
How can we build on what we have done before and effect this change? This will be explored and discussed at this year’s conference.
Join us at The Coaching Conversation 2016, taking place 11th November at Dunston Hall Norwich, where our hand-picked speakers and experts in the coaching and mentoring world will give you the opportunity to see, hear and experience just how quick and easy coaching and mentoring can be.
Our Keynote speaker for our conference this year is David Taylor. David is an internationally renowned speaker, coach, business-book bestselling author and founder of The Naked Leader.
David will be exploring Business Coaching, but without the boring bits. He will explain coaching without being patronising and in an effective and accessible way. He will be taking a look at coaching from a different perspective…yours.
Joining David is Dr Jodi O’Dell, founding partner of Engage Coach International, she is a qualified Coaching Psychologist, with over 18 year’s consultancy experience. Jodi is fascinated by what motivates and drives human behaviour and remains passionate about understanding and exploring these complex relationships. She will be speaking on ‘The Impact of Coaching’. So many of us wrestle with demonstrating the return on investment of coaching, although we know it works!
Other Themes on the day include:
